Bar/Budva – Republic’s Tourist Inspection has conducted a massive action in the area of Bar’s Municipality. 18 bars got shot down and 15 mandatory penalties charged, totaling at amount of Euro 2,200.
Chief Tourist Inspector, Bozo Vucekovic explained that 12 inspectors participated in this action, whose aim has been to conduct inspection of objects which are working without licenses, as well as control providers of private accommodation and temporary objects on the beaches.
“Focus of these inspectors was in the area of Bar’s suburbs of Zukotrlica and Susanj, where this problem had been most present for years.
We have conducted 58 inspection controls, during which we discovered 36 unregistered objects and found 44 irregularities. We concluded that out of 22 unregistered objects, 19 have been working without licenses, while the remaining three objects exceeded their activity rights”, Vucekovic said.
He added he was in direct contact with the representative of the public enterprise “Morsko dobro” and Bar’s Mayor, Zarko Pavicevic and that he expected that problems with issuing of licenses and giving clearances for the area of Zukotrlica would be resolved soon, as “the Municipality had settled accounts for those who have not been paying their electricity and water bills.”
“We have issued 18 decisions forbidding activities of bars and restaurants until they obtain adequate licenses, as well as 16 decisions noting problems which must be resolved”, Vucekovic said, announcing the continuation of inspection’s activities on the coast.
