The brand new gem of Montenegro, the Kolašin 1600 ski resort in the southern part of the Bjelasica Mountain, will be officially opened on February 16.
With an area of some 27.19 hectares, the new resort base village consists of the central zone with hotels, apartments, reception and public facilities and all the usual ski suspects. The ski trails are starting from the base village in such a way that they provide ideal access to skiers.
According to the developers, Kolašin 1600 ski resort will operate one 400 seat restaurant for this inaugural season, along with a planned ski school. The 1600 resort will supposedly operate a six-seat lift with a total capacity of 2,800 skiers per hour to deliver skiers from the base lodge to 2070 meters of altitude.
Situated only 9 kilometers from Kolašin, the 1450 and 1600 ski resorts will eventually have a total of 62.5 kilometers of ski trails.
Come enjoy what winter really has to offer at a ski resort that insists you leave with a smile on your face.
