Verica Čuljkovic was born in 1991 in Podgorica. At the age of five, she starts with playing the violin in Music School for Talents “Andre Navarra” in Podgorica. Her exceptional music talent helped her make swift progress, so her music matured quickly. She graduated from the University of Arts in Belgrade, the Faculty of Music, under the guidance of prof. Maja Jokanović.
Since 2019, she had been the music ambassador of the foundation “Yehudi Menuhin” based in Belgium, and the representative of Montenegro in the orchestra “Planet Earth”. The Universal Music UK Project “The Earth Orchestra” has brought together 197 musicians from all over the world, one from each country. 197 musicians represented the Universal Music, and later promoted it as an ambassadors for the project for their countries.
Furthermore, Verica has been a part of many global projects such as Mix the City with the British Council and EXIT festival, European creative programs Music up Close, and has played in many concerts with big names of classical and pop music scene. She is a member of Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra.
Verica Čuljković redefines the perception of classical violin
She performs with quartet “Unique”, whose repertoire includes also elements of tango, movie themes and contemporary music. Redefining the perception of classical violin by reinterpreting and improvising on favorite songs in an original manner, quartet Unique brings products of its kind in the music industry.
Verica often performs at DJ live sets, which brings a unique blend and remarkable energy.
